Melbourne Day Tour (Out & About)

Our Out and About Melbourne Day Tour really gets about, you see a lot of our wonderful city with a mix of sightseeing, history as well as a visit to an Iconic old fashioned Milk Bar for a coffee (or a milk shake). Our Big Three Wheeled Excitement Machines, take you somewhere different and as we cover so much ground our rider will always ask if there is any particular part of Melbourne you want to see.  If we can fit if into the schedule, our Melbourne Day Tour will take you there.

This Melbourne Day Tour takes around 4(ish) hours depending on the traffic with our first stop being our busy Shipping Precinct, the Container Ships, Cranes, Containers, Tug Boats, and all the Trucks, yes it’s not a tourist destination but another unique part of our wonderful city.

Next around to Williamstown, Port Phillip Bay, this is the first settlement of Melbourne. It’s all about the waterfront here, some great early history and then over our biggest bridge, the WestGate, down through Port Melbourne and into St Kilda for a coffee at a famous celebrity haunt in Elwood.

This Melbourne Day Tour then takes us back towards the City, the Grand Prix Track in Albert Park, around the Tan track, the Sports Precinct and up along the edge of the CBD.  There are lots of Points of Interest along here, some unique sights of Melbourne and lots to talk about.  It’s all “Look at Me” in through in the City, most times another visitor will take a photo of us all, such is the “WOW Factor” of the Trike…..

Our Melbourne Day Tour now heads NORTH through the Italian Precinct, (smell the garlic cooking….) and then through the inner suburb of Carlton, all the original housing, this is just a most magnificent historic part of our Wonderful City, across the top end of the city and then Whoosh back into Docklands over the Bolte Bridge.  The view as we travel ver the bridge is absolutely breathtaking, I am never sure which way to look…yes it is that spectacular……

We find ourselves back in Docklands now, our Melbourne Day Tour is almost complete, making our way back to your choice of Trike HQ or your hotel to finish a sightseeing extravaganza on board our Chopper 4 OZtrike.

I’m not sure this Blog does justice to this extensive Melbourne Day Tour, all the sights and experiences you encounter, especially if you are a first time visitor. I am sure however, after this Three Wheeled Adventure, our guests will know more about Melbourne, more options for places to eat and visit as well as experiencing that unique “Feeling of Freedom” that riding our Trikes  is all about.

You will realise reading these Blogs, this TrikeMan enjoys his job (it’s more a lifestyle than a job really…) we do look forward to taking you on your own Three Wheeled Adventure Trike Tour and as always thanks for reading the blog…..
